Question

I. In projectile motion, the angle between instantaneous velocity vector and acceleration vector can be  anything between 0 to π (excluding the limiting case.)
II. In projectile motion, acceleration vector is always pointing vertically downwards. (Neglect air friction).
Which of the following statement{s) is/are correct?

Moderate
Solution

For oblique projection ,the angle between instantaneous velocity vector and acceleration vector before attaining the maximum height is obtuse and after  the maximum height is attained , it is obtuse . At the highest point, it is perpendicular (π/2).

For vertically upward projection ,initial angle between velocity and acceleration is π and at the end of flight , this angle becomes 00.
