$= \frac{\frac{1}{2} {mu}^{2} - \frac{1}{2} {mv}^{2}}{\frac{1}{2} {mu}^{2}} \times 100 % = \frac{\frac{1}{2} {mu}^{2} - \frac{1}{2} m (u^{2} / 4)}{\frac{1}{2} {mu}^{2}} \times 100 % = \frac{3}{4} \times 100 = 75 %$
