$I = I_{o} {(\frac{\sin ϕ}{ϕ})}^{2}$ where $ϕ$ is path difference $ϕ = 0$ ; for principal maxima
Hence intensity will remain same, increasing the slit width of the slit will make the central peak more narrow.
