Solution

If two vectors are equal, means both magnitude and direction are equal.
$| \vec{P} | = | \vec{Q} |$ and $\hat{P} = \hat{Q}$
Also,
Vector $\vec{P} = P \hat{P}$ and $\vec{Q} = Q \hat{Q}$
$∴ \vec{P} + \vec{Q} = P \hat{P} + Q \hat{Q}$
