Speed of transverse wave in a wire is $v = \sqrt{\frac{F}{μ}}$

Here F = 400 N and $μ = \frac{0 .01 kg}{4 m} = . 0025 kg / m ∴ v = \sqrt{\frac{400}{. 0025}} = 400 m / s$
