The energy loss in a material is given by
W_H= V A v t
where y =volume of the material, A = area of hysteresis curve, v = frequency and t = time,
$\begin{array}{l} ∴ W_{H} = (m / d) Avt (∵ V = m / d) \\ = (\frac{0 \cdot 6}{7 \cdot 8 \times 10^{3}}) \times 0 \cdot 722 \times 50 \times 1 \\ = 277 \cdot 7 \times 10^{- 5} joule \end{array}$
