Maximum possible strain = 0.2/100
$\begin{array}{l} ∴ A = \frac{F}{Y \times strain} \\ = \frac{10^{4} \times 100}{(7 \times 10^{9}) \times 0 \cdot 2} = 7 \cdot 1 \times 10^{- 4} m^{2} \end{array}$
