Solution

Here, angle is very small so diameter $≃ a r c$
Here, $θ = 42^{'} = {(42 \times \frac{1}{60})}^{0} = 42 \times \frac{1}{60} \times \frac{π}{180} = \frac{7 π}{1800} rad$
So, $d i a m e t e r = R θ = 360000 \times \frac{7}{1800} \times \frac{22}{7} = 4400 km$
