Solution

The circuit is a balanced wheat stone bridge $i_{1} = current through 2 Ω = \frac{9}{2 + 1} A = 3 A$ and $i_{2} = current through 6 Ω = \frac{9}{6 + 3} A = 1 A$
$∴ \frac{P_{1}}{P_{2}} = \frac{{(3)}^{2} \times 2}{{(1)}^{2} \times 6} = 3$
