$\frac{1}{f} = \frac{1}{v} + \frac{1}{u}; v_{1} = - 2 u, v_{2} = 2 u \frac{1}{f} = \frac{1}{v_{1}} + \frac{1}{u_{1}}, \frac{1}{f} = \frac{1}{v_{2}} + \frac{1}{u_{2}}$
Distance moved by the object = $u_{1} - u_{2} = f$
