Solution

$Power, P = \frac{Work done}{Time taken} Here work done (= m g h) is same in both cases. ∴ \frac{P_{1}}{P_{2}} = \frac{t_{2}}{t_{1}} = \frac{30 s}{1 \min} = \frac{30 s}{60 s} = \frac{1}{2}$
