Solution

We know that, the gas equation in adiabatic process,
$p V^{γ} = constant$
Here in given condition, $p \propto \frac{1}{V^{γ}} \Rightarrow \frac{p_{1}}{p_{2}} = {(\frac{V_{2}}{V_{1}})}^{γ}$
$\frac{1}{p_{2}} = {(\frac{1}{10^{3}})}^{\frac{5}{3}} = \frac{1}{10^{5}}$
$\Rightarrow p_{2} = 10^{5} atm$
