For the first minima d $\sin θ = λ$
$\Rightarrow sinθ = \frac{λ}{d} \Rightarrow θ = \sin^{- 1} (\frac{5000 \times 10^{- 10}}{0 .001 \times 10^{- 3}}) = 30^{\circ}$
