Restoring force $F = - mg \sin θ$
Equation of curve $y = {cx}^{2}$
$\tan θ = \frac{dy}{dx} = 2 cx$
For small angle, $\sin θ = \tan θ = 2 cx F = - mg (2 cx) \Rightarrow F \propto - x$
Since particle is executing SHM in a potential well after released from maximum displacement position.
