$In \vec{v} = \frac{d \vec{r}}{dt} we have \vec{v} = A \frac{d}{dt} (cosωt) \hat{i} + A \frac{d}{dt} (\sin ωt) \hat{j}$
$= - Aωsinωt \hat{i} + Aωcosωt \hat{j}$
$At t = 0, v = - Aωsin 0 \hat{i} + Aωcos 0 \hat{j} = Aω \hat{j}$
