$\begin{array}{l} u_{x} = u \cos θ = 20 \times \frac{\sqrt{3}}{2} = 10 \sqrt{3} v_{x} = 10 \sqrt{3} \\ u_{y} = u \sin θ = 20 \times \frac{1}{2} = 10 \\ v_{y} = u \sin θ - gt = 10 - 10 \times 0 .5 = 5 {ms}^{- 1} \\ \Rightarrow {Δv}_{y} = |v_{y} - u_{y}| = | 5 - 10 | = 5 {ms}^{- 1} \end{array}$
