Solution

Due to the action of electric force, the kinetic energy of the particle must change but since direction of magnetic force $(\vec{F_{B}} = Q \vec{V} \times \vec{B})$ is always perpendicular to the direction of motion and hence wok done by magnetic force on the particle is zero and its kinetic energy remains unchanged.
Hence option -(2) is correct
