$g i v e n A_{1} {=A}_{2} {=A}_{n e t} {and A}_{net} =A {Resultant amplitude A}_{net} = \sqrt{{A_{1}}^{2} + {A_{2}}^{2} + 2 A_{1} A_{2} \cos θ} \Rightarrow A= \sqrt{A^{2} {+A}^{2} {+2A}^{2} \cos θ} s q u a r i n g b o t h s i d e A^{2} {=2A}^{2} {+2A}^{2} cosθ \Rightarrow {2A}^{2} {cosθ=-A}^{2} \Rightarrow cosθ=-1/2, \Rightarrow θ=12 0^{\circ} \Rightarrow θ= \frac{2π}{3} .$
