$\vec{AC} = \vec{AB} + \vec{BC}$
AC = $\sqrt{{(AB)}^{2} + {(BC)}^{2}}$
= $\sqrt{{(10)}^{2} + {(20)}^{2}}$
= $\sqrt{100 + 400} = \sqrt{500}$
= 22.36 km
