Solution

Areal velocity $\frac{dA}{dt} = \frac{L}{2 m} = \frac{mVr}{2 m} = \frac{Vr}{2} .$
$∴ \frac{V' . (2 r)}{2} = \frac{V . r}{2} \Rightarrow V' = \frac{V}{2}$
