When a bar magnet is placed in a uniform magnetic field, its potential energy $U = - \vec{M} . \vec{B}$
$U=-MB \cos θ$
For stable equilibrium $θ = 0$
$U = - M B$
$U = - 0.2 J T^{- 1} . (0.16) T$
$U = - 0.032 J$ .
