Solution

$T = 2 π \sqrt{\frac{l}{| \vec{g} + \vec{a} |}}$ . $\vec{a}$ is in horizontal direction in both cases. Hence $| \vec{g} + \vec{a} | > g,$ so T decreases in both cases.
