A simple pendulum of length 1 m is allowed to oscillate with amplitude 2°. It collides elastically with a wall inclined at l° to the vertical. Its time period will be: (use g = π2)

Time period for half part:

T = 2πlg = 2πlg = 2ππ = 2 sec
So 2° part will be covered in a time t = T2 = 1 sec
For the left l° part:
θ = θ0sin(ωt)

1° = 2° sin(2πT×t12= sin(2πT×t)

π6 = π×t    t= 16sec

Total time  T2+2t

1+2×16 = 1+13 = 43sec
