Solution

$\begin{array}{l} V = \frac{1}{4 π \in_{0}} \frac{Q}{R} \Rightarrow Q = 4 π \in_{0} R . V \\ ∴ σ = \frac{Q}{4 π R^{2}} = \frac{4 π \in_{0} R V}{4 π R^{2}} = \frac{\in_{0} V}{R} \end{array}$
$∴ σ = \frac{8.85 \times 10^{- 12} \times 100}{0.1} \frac{C}{m^{2}} = 8.85 \times 10^{- 9} \frac{C}{m^{2}}$
