Conserving Linear momentum ,
0.1 X V1 + m X V2 = 0.1 X 4
⇒ V1 + 10 m V2 = 4 - - - - - - - - - - (1)
Also , V2 -V1 / 4-1 = e =1
⇒ V1 = (V2 - 3 )-----------------(2)
From (1) and (2) , V2 = 7 / (1 +10 m) m/s
