Solution

From the equation, $\frac{θ}{x} = \frac{Δ t}{l}$
Given, $t_{1} = 100^{\circ} C, t_{2} = 0^{\circ} C, l = 25 cm and x = 10 cm$
$\frac{θ}{10} = \frac{100 - 0}{25} \Rightarrow \frac{θ}{10} = 4 \Rightarrow θ = 40^{\circ} C$
