When the magnet is bent, the new length of magnet is $AC=AB+BC$
$=Lsin \frac{θ}{2} +Lsin \frac{θ}{2}$

$= 2L sin \frac{θ}{2}$
$= 2L sin (\frac{60}{2})$
$=L$ .
