$\begin{array}{l} s_{B} = \frac{1}{2} \times 2 \times (1)^{2} = 1 m \\ s_{A} = \frac{1}{2} \times 2 \times (2)^{2} = 4 m \\ ∴ s_{A} - s_{B} = 3 m \end{array}$
