The point where the magnetic induction is zero, must lie between P and Q and in the plane containing P and Q. If x be the distance of the point from P, then
$\begin{array}{l} \frac{μ_{0} \times 3}{2 π x} - \frac{μ_{0} \times 1}{2 π (1 - x)} = 0 \\ \Rightarrow 3 - 3 x = x \Rightarrow x = \frac{3}{4} m . \end{array}$
