Solution

$\hat{P} \times \hat{Q}, \vec{P} \times \hat{Q}$ as well as $\hat{P} \times \vec{Q}$ all are perpendicular to $\vec{P}$ and $\vec{Q}$ . Here only in case (2), the magnitude is equal to 1.
