Solution

R = $3 \hat{i} + \hat{j} + 2 \hat{k}$
$∴$ Length in XY plane = $\sqrt{R_{x}^{2} + R_{y}^{2}}$ = $\sqrt{3^{2} + 1^{2}}$ = $\sqrt{10}$
