Solution

we know that h v =v₀+e V
For frequency v, we have
$hv = {hv}_{0} + ({eV}_{0} / 2)$
FOR frequency v/2 we have
$hv / 2 = {hv}_{0} + {eV}_{0}$
Solving egs. (1) and (2) . we get $v_{0} = 3 v / 2$
