In which of the following cases can the work done increase the potential energy?

The work done against non-conservative forces is dissipated as heat, sound etc. i.e., it does not increase potential energy. But work done against conservative force increases the potential energy  as ∆U=-∫F→.ds→ , where F is conservative force.
