To minimise the time required for cooking, conduction of heat from over to the food stuff through the bottom of the pot should take place more quickly. For this, the bottom of the cooking pot should be made of a material having high thermal conductivity.
Also the cooking pot should absorb minimum heat. For this specific heat of the material of the cooking pot should be low. Hence option-(2) is correct.
