Solution

Net lifting force on the wing= Pressure difference x Area of the wing
$= (P_{2} - P_{1}) \times A = (0 .91 \times 10^{5} - 0 .90 \times 10^{5}) Pa \times 40 m^{2}$
$= 0.01 \times 10^{5} Pa \times 40 m^{2} = 4 \times 10^{4} N$
