Solution

The wedge must move to the right. From the frame of the wedge, $N + masinθ - mgcosθ = 0$
$∴ masinθ - mgcosθ = 0$
$\Rightarrow a = gcotθ = 10 \cot 30^{0} = 10 \sqrt{3} m / s^{2} = 17 .32 m / s^{2}$
