Solution

$Δ λ = λ_{K_{α}} - λ_{min}$
When V is halved, $λ_{min}$ becomes two times but $λ_{K_{α}}$ remains the same.
$\begin{array}{rcl} ∴ Δ λ^{'} & = & λ_{K_{α}} - 2 λ_{min} \\ = & 2 (Δ λ) - λ_{K_{α}} \\ ∴ Δ λ^{'} & < & 2 (Δ λ) \end{array}$
