On same distance Z, now let ‘n’ fringes are observed. SO $Z = n \frac{λ D}{d} \to (2)$
From (1) and (2)
$16 (700 n m) \frac{D}{d} = n (400 n m) \frac{D}{d}$
$\Rightarrow n = 28$
