The elbow joint is a synovial hinge joint. It is the point of articulation of three bones: the humerus of the arm and the radius and the ulna of the forearm. The tibia is a bone in the lower limb.
The elbow joint is formed by two articulations: (1) the trochlear notch of the ulna with the trochlea of the humerus and (2) the head of the radius with the capitulum of the humerus.
