The contractile proteins in a myofibril are

Actin and myosin of the thin and thick filaments respectively are called the contractile proteins because they generate force during contraction.  Troponin and tropomyosin are called regulatory proteins because they help switch the contraction process on and off. Dystrophin and titin are the structural proteins. Collagen and elastic are found in connective tissues.
