Blood from two precaval veins and one postcaval vein first enters a triangular structure called sinus venosus, which opens into the right atrium. Blood from the lungs enters the left atrium. Blood from both the atria enters the ventricle. Ventricle pumps blood into conus arteriosus from which three pairs of aortic arches arise. They carry blood to different parts of the body through their branches.
