If due to some injury, the chordae tendinae of the tricuspid valve of the human heart is partially non-functional, what will be the immediate effect?
Tricuspid valve is between right atrium and right ventricle and thus regulates the flow of deoxygenated blood. This blood is pumped from right ventricle to lungs through pulmonary arteries. Thus, when tricuspid valve is non-functional, blood flow into the pulmonary artery is affected.
