LH(Luteinizing Hormone), secreted by anterior pituitary gland, is a gonadotrophic hormone. It induces ovulation of fully mature follicle(Graafian follicle) and maintains corpus luteum and secretion of estrogen and progesterone from corpus luteum in female.
