The wings of a bird and the wings of an insect are

The wings of a bird and the wings of an insect are analogous structures and represent convergent evolution. The wings of a bird are modified forelimbs while the wings of an insect are extensions of the integument (both differ in origin). But, both help in the same function i.e., flying hence they are analogous structures.
