The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) will soon release the Bihar Board 10th and 12th Time Table 2026 in October. Students can check the official date sheet on the board’s website – biharboardonline.bihar.gov.in.
As per the latest update and past schedule, the BSEB Class 12 (Inter) exams 2026 are expected to begin from February 1, 2026, while the BSEB Class 10 (Matric) exams 2026 are likely to start from February 17, 2026.
The exams will be held in two shifts every day:
Morning shift: 9:30 AM to 12:45 PM
Afternoon shift: 2:00 PM to 5:15 PM
BSEB has already released the 2025-26 syllabus for all subjects. Students can download the latest syllabus and time table PDF from the official site and start preparing early for the exams.

The Bihar School Examination Board Class 10 Matric exams every year, usually in February. This year, the results were declared on May 2026. Around 16 to 17 lakh students take these exams annually, and the pass rate has improved over recent years. The board also organizes supplementary exams for students who couldn’t pass the main exams.
The BSEB also holds BSEB Class 12 Intermediate exams for schools across Bihar. These exams are usually conducted in February, with results announced in March. This year, the results were declared on March 24, 2026. Similar to Class 10, supplementary exams are held for Class 12 students in the science, arts, and commerce streams.
Here are the final dates for the Bihar Board Class 10 exams in 2026. The BSEB matric exams will begin on February 17, 2026, and will conclude on February 25, 2026.

The Bihar School Examination Board (BSEB) syllabus for all classes is set by the State Government of Bihar. Class 10 subjects include Science (Physics, Chemistry, Biology), Mathematics, Social Science (History, Political Science, Geography, Economics), and English.

BSEB students can download Bihar state textbooks and study offline whenever they need. The Bihar State Text Book Publishing Corporation Ltd. provides these books online. Students can also download Bihar board books from Infinity Learn and begin their preparation easily.
The exam pattern for both Matric (Class 10) and Inter (Class 12) exams is determined by the Bihar School Examination Board. Each exam paper includes 50% objective questions, each carrying 1 mark. Students use OMR sheets to answer these multiple-choice questions. Additionally, there are descriptive questions, and some subjects have practical exams. The weightage for these is typically 30 marks for practicals and 70 marks for the written test. Students should check the latest exam pattern to be fully prepared.
