The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has officially announced the Semester 3 results for Class 12 (Uchha Madhyamik) for the academic year 2025-26. This marks the first time students in West Bengal have received results under the semester-based system, which splits Class 12 assessments into multiple phases to promote analytical, writing, and reasoning skills.
The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has released the WB HS Semester 3 Result 2026 today, October 31, 2025. The announcement was made during a press conference held at 12:30 PM. Students who appeared for the Semester 3 examinations can now access their results and download their marksheets from the official website.
The result link has been activated by the board. Candidates can view and download their marksheets from result.wb.gov.in. To check their results, students need to visit the official website and log in using their registration and roll numbers.
The WBCHSE 3rd semester exams, held in September 2025, saw participation from over 6.6 lakh students across more than 2,100 centers statewide.
The results were announced on October 31, 2025, following a press conference at the board headquarters in Kolkata.
This new evaluation system divides the academic year into four semesters, with the 3rd semester focusing on multiple-choice questions (MCQs) and OMR answer sheets for analytical ability, while the 4th semester will emphasize descriptive answers and written expression.
The overall pass percentage for Semester 3 stands at approximately 93.72%, an impressive increase compared to previous years under the old annual system.
In stream-wise results, Science saw the highest success rate, followed by Commerce and Arts. Both boys and girls performed strongly, with only marginal differences in their pass rates.

Top performing students this year achieved scores above 98%, with outstanding results reported from districts like Purulia.
