Which of the allotropes of Sulphur represents α-Sulphur?

The octahedral form of rhombic sulphur is crystalline in nature. We obtain rhombic sulphur after heating the roll sulphur solution in ${\mathrm{CS}}_2$. It has a specific gravity of 2.06, a yellow colour, and a melting point of 385.8K. While rhombic sulphur cannot be dissolved in water, it may be in other liquids including benzene, ether, and alcohol.
