The simple present tense is used for habitual actions, general truths, and fixed arrangements. To form it, use the base form of the verb (e.g., "I walk," "they walk"), and for the third-person singular (he, she, it), add an "-s" or "-es" to the verb (e.g., "he walks," "she watches").

Definition: The simple present tense describes an action that happens all the time or a situation that is true now. It is one of the most commonly used tenses in English.
Structure
For plural subjects (I, you, we, they):
Use the base form of the verb.
