A high NEET Physics score comes from knowing your NCERT concepts, practicing numericals often and using a three-pass method that grabs easy marks before the hard ones. Physics has 45 questions worth 180 marks, and one careless wrong answer pulls your rank down. NEET does not ask for the deep derivations of JEE Advanced, but its time limit punishes slow or careless work. Physics contains 45 compulsory multiple-choice questions worth 180 marks. Most questions involve direct formula use, NCERT-linked theory or short calculations connecting two ideas. A kinematics graph, for instance, may test slope interpretation before a basic equation.
The 2026 examination drew close to 20 lakh candidates, while 11.21 lakh qualified. At that scale, careless negative marks can damage rank even when a student knows the chapter. NEET rarely reaches JEE Advanced depth. Direct questions still demand fast recognition, clean calculation and correct units.
A useful plan moves from concepts to questions, followed by timed application.
Use three passes in full papers. Answer direct, one-formula questions first. Next, take familiar calculations. Reserve long or uncertain problems for the final pass.
Securing the easier group cleanly usually beats wrestling with the hardest problem early. After every NEET mock test online, record the chapter, mistake, correct approach and revision date. Reattempt each wrong question after 48 hours and again after seven days.
Guard against negative marking on every pass. Each wrong answer costs one mark, so a wild guess can undo a correct solve elsewhere. Leave a question blank when two options still look equal after a quick check.

Do not use the table as permission to skip smaller units. A lower-frequency chapter can still supply an easy mark.
Some students open advanced books before they can explain an NCERT example. Extra difficulty then hides basic gaps. Others memorize formulas without their conditions and apply the right equation to the wrong physical case.
