JEE Main 2026 Session 2 admit card has been released by the National Testing Agency on March 29, 2026 for candidates appearing on April 2 and April 4. The admit cards for the remaining exam dates — April 5, 6, 7, and 8 — are expected to be released soon. Candidates can download their JEE Main 2026 hall ticket from the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in using their application number and password. A printed hard copy of the admit card is mandatory for entry at the exam centre. Digital copies or screenshots saved on mobile phones are not accepted.

JEE Main 2026 Session 2 admit card was released on March 29, 2026 for exams scheduled on April 2 and April 4. NTA releases hall tickets in batches and not for all exam dates at once. Candidates with exams on April 5, 6, 7, and 8 must wait for the next batch of admit cards. The expected release date for the remaining dates is April 1 to April 2, 2026.
Candidates must note that NTA does not send admit cards via email or SMS. The hall ticket can only be downloaded from the official website jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates should check the website regularly for updates on admit card release for the pending dates.
The JEE Main 2026 hall ticket for Paper 2 (B.Arch and B.Planning), scheduled on April 7, is also yet to be released. Candidates appearing for Paper 2 must keep checking the official portal for updates.

JEE Main 2026 admit card download process requires candidates to log in using their application number and password at jeemain.nta.nic.in. The steps to download the hall ticket are given below.
Step 1: Visit the official NTA JEE Main website — jeemain.nta.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the "JEE Main Admit Card 2026 Session 2 Download" link on the homepage

Step 3: A new login page will open. Enter your JEE Main application number and password

Step 5: The JEE Main 2026 Session 2 admit card will appear on the screen as a PDF
Step 6: Download the PDF and take a printout on A4 size paper
Step 7: Carry at least 2 to 3 printed copies to the exam centre
Step 8: Paste a passport size photograph on the designated space on the admit card

Step 9: Fill the self declaration undertaking form attached with the admit card before reaching the centre
Candidates must ensure that the printout is clear and all details including the photograph, QR code, and barcode are clearly visible.
JEE Main 2026 admit card for April 5, 6, 7, and 8 has not been released yet as of April 1, 2026. NTA has officially stated that admit cards for these dates will be released in due course. Based on the pattern followed for the previous batch, the hall tickets for the remaining exam dates are expected to be released between April 1 and April 2, 2026.
Candidates are advised to keep their application number and password ready for a quick download as soon as the link goes live. NTA may release the remaining admit cards in one batch or in separate batches for each date.
The Paper 2 hall ticket for the B.Arch and B.Planning exam on April 7 is also yet to be released. Candidates must regularly visit jeemain.nta.nic.in for the latest updates.

JEE Main 2026 admit card is a 4-page document. Candidates must check all the details printed on it immediately after downloading. Any error must be reported to NTA before the exam day.

Candidates who applied using a non-Aadhaar ID must fill Page 4 completely and carry it to the exam centre. Candidates who registered with Aadhaar do not need to fill Page 4.

JEE Main 2026 admit card errors must be reported to NTA immediately after downloading. Candidates must not wait until exam day to raise any discrepancy. Common errors and steps to resolve them are given below.
Wrong name on admit card: Contact NTA through the official helpdesk at jeemain.nta.nic.in. Carry a government ID with the correct name to the exam centre as supporting proof.
Wrong photograph on admit card: Report the issue to NTA immediately. Carry the same photograph used during registration along with the admit card to the exam centre for manual verification.
Wrong exam centre: NTA does not change exam centres without an official correction process. Contact NTA helpdesk before the exam day. Candidates cannot walk into a different centre on exam day.
Wrong date of birth: This must match the date of birth entered during registration. Contact NTA to resolve this before the exam.
Blurry printout: Reprint on a better quality printer. Ensure the photograph, QR code, and barcode are all clearly scannable. A blurry QR code will cause delays at biometric verification.

JEE Main 2026 admit card and city intimation slip are two different documents. Candidates often confuse the two. The table below explains the key difference between them.

Candidates must carry the admit card to the exam centre. The city intimation slip is only for planning travel and accommodation. It is not a valid entry document at the exam gate.

JEE Main 2026 admit card must be printed on A4 size white paper. A black and white printout is accepted — colour printout is not mandatory. Candidates must ensure that all details are clearly printed before leaving for the exam centre.
Printing guidelines for JEE Main 2026 hall ticket:
Candidates must paste a passport size photograph on the designated space on the printed admit card before reaching the centre. The photograph must be the same as the one submitted during the online registration.

JEE Main 2026 admit card can be downloaded after resetting the password. Candidates must visit jeemain.nta.nic.in and click on "Forgot Password". Enter the registered application number and registered mobile number or email ID. A reset link will be sent. After resetting, candidates can log in and download the admit card.
Colour printout is not mandatory for JEE Main 2026 admit card. A clear black and white printout is accepted at the exam centre. Candidates must ensure the photograph, QR code, and all details are clearly visible on the printout regardless of colour.
Digital copies of JEE Main admit card are not accepted at the exam centre. Candidates must carry a printed hard copy. Screenshots, PDFs on mobile, or soft copies are strictly not allowed at any centre under any circumstances.
JEE Main application number can be retrieved by visiting jeemain.nta.nic.in. Click on "Forgot Application Number" on the login page. Enter the registered email ID or mobile number used during registration. The application number will be sent to the registered contact details.
Lost JEE Main admit card can be re-downloaded immediately from jeemain.nta.nic.in using login credentials. Candidates must print a fresh copy before leaving for the exam centre. To avoid this situation, always carry at least 2 to 3 printed copies to the exam centre.
